Initial impressions are positive, but some reservations. Given that I'm comparing it to an E39 M5 and an '09 Mini Cooper S, I may have a few pre-conceived notions about what to expect.

Overall, I really like the car; however, I 'm not so positive on the drivetrain programming, except in manual mode:
- EcoPro - Awful in town, and that's a compliment ... may be OK on the highway
- Drive - Shifts too soon, lugs a lot and about as much fun as a Prius
- Sport - Much better, but still shifts too soon ... better, but not great
- Sport Manual - Did I say that I love this transmission! Awesome!

Guess I'll never see the top mileage ratings. Not a problem ... I'll enjoy the car.

Great handling ... steering feel is great (sorry MT, R&T, etc.) ... nice ride ... it's a BMW through and through.
