Update
I'm fairly convinced its tire noise. I've scoured the internet looking for transfer case grinding noise and what I hear does not sound like that at all.
Question now is, do I keep these tires on for next few months and then worry about it, or do I get some new ones as per your suggestions. I have vacation coming so more than likely the tires will wait.
BTW - if anyone has some codes or other things that a 'failing' transfer case would generate, including noises, please send my way. I have zero faults/codes and no grinding noise from Transfer case just that annoying hum starting above 10 mph. (see my previous posts)
