Interesting thing about the X1 being built on the E90 frame is it has hydraulic steering which is better than the electric. Just read the Car and Driver review of the F30 and they basically said they prefer to E90 over the F30 except for the engine and transmission. Both Car and Driver and Motor Trend did 5.6 seconds 0-60 in the F30 and it's only 50 pounds lighter than the X1 28 sdrive. I expect 0-60 rating of 6.0 seconds for the sdrive. I think this may end being one of the top models BMW makes not in sales but great in a lot of handling and performance areas.
