My 2013 BMW X1 SDrive 23i came with 225/45R18 ContiProContact SSR Run Flat Tires. They give a hard ride. I looked at replacing them with Bridgestone-Potenza S001 RFT. But decided a RFT will be hard no matter how “good” they are.

So Traditional Tires soon. TireRack suggests Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. Anybody happy with these?

How about using a compact spare tire? Or a ContiComfortKit ?

We live in Honolulu so can’t get too far from service. What does BMW Emergency Road Service do for me if I don’t have RFT and don’t have a Spare??
