Also, here in the US we get neither the cheaper/smaller gasoline engines, nor the more expensive (but cheaper to drive) diesel engines. So if comparing, make sure you don't compare with models we don't get

Ehm, I mistyped. I meant that the X1 is cheaper than the 1.
Here the X1 is priced €13.000(!!) higher than the cheapest 1 and €5000 higher than the cheapest 3. All are the entry level petrol engines.
I hear a lot about packages, is it that options are only available through those packages? Here we just have some packages but every option is available seperately.
