The Performance brake kit is identical other than color to the brakes that come on the 135i M-Sport (my car that I just sold). I know their shortcomings when used on track, the X1 won't be seeing a track except for 1 lap of Nurburgring to earn her sticker.
I'm interested in an upgrade for 2 reasons: I don't like the grabby break feel of the X1 when compared to my old 135, and (let's be honest here) cosmetics.
I'm primarily looking for OEM brakes that would be an upgrade so I can be on the lookout for someone selling take-offs at a good price.
I'm not going to invest in Stoptech's for the X1. That's complete overkill for our use, unless I could get them for 1/3 of their normal price. ;-)
