If we can get a part number ( or he can for replacement brakes from his dealer) we can start to narrow it down and look for differences. Ill ask my old shop foreman to get in touch with people and we can cross reference.
Edit: Also I poked around looking for a part number and it should be noted for Europe there are No performance retrofit kits available for brakes period. I also looked on Realoem.com and came back with nothing as well.

Edit 3: Interesting fun fact, the 6 speed used in the European X1 is the same one in the f30 320xi
Edit 4: Worth nothing after checking part numbers e90 and e84 part numbers are different for the hubs. Could lead to incompatibility or nothing....
