About 20+ years ago I was rocking a black Acura Legend coupe with gold trim and deep tint (bought used). We were on a road trip and exiting off the freeway in the Bronx to try to drive by Yankee Stadium when a police car came down on us fast. As a genteel Canuck, I was rather taken aback when the officer told me to "put my hands where he can see them" and his partner told my bro-in-law in the passenger seat "not to go for the glovebox". We actually got a ticket for a right turn on red but no mention was made of the tint!
