Fronts, depends on your experience. You'll need a set of spring compressors to get the assemblies out and the top hats swapped.
Helps a ton to have an impact gun...but a towel, vice grips and hand tools can work in a pinch.
First time? Plan on all day and probably a 1/2 case of beer. But a doable project.
But seriously, save for a set of Bilstein HDs and do it all at once. Well, well worth it. If you plan on keeping the car, the stock dampeners aren't going to last anyway. Might as well replace them at the same time with suitable hardware.

I'll make the finally decision this summer when I actually purchase them. No point in doing it now, Canadian weather sucks lol.
If I just went for the springs, do I reuse everything and just swap the springs?
