So I had the day off, two cameras with fully charged batteries and a full tank in the X1. Time to hit one of my more favorite highways in California, Highway 70, which follows the Feather River through the mountains. It was the Western Pacific Railroads competing route against the Southern Pacific Donner Pass. I used to hit this all the time on my motorbike, but those days are long passed. Enjoy the pics and consider the road if you are ever out this way.

While it is no sport bike, or M series, I flogged the X pretty good, and was more than pleased with how it handled itself., The paddle shifters were fun, and I annihilated the two cars that I passed, so the little 4 proved itself worthy.
