I got some questions too about switching "down" from the X6 to the X1
Tell them all the same thing, go drive one, especially Sport / M Sport and see if they don't enjoy it. They had my X6 for a week working on it and I got an X1 Sport as a loaner. I was surprised at it and after a week's difference in gas mileage I started looking at them. In my case the 35i with N55 will offer more mod potential, for overall less cost than the X6 and should be a faster vehicle.
