The X1's weak point is the AWD transmission - ensure matched tires on front and back. This failure is rare.
The N20 is generally a reliable engine. Trouble spots are electric water pump, and timing chain.
Imminent pump failure is detected by engine fans cycling on high.
Timing chain failure can be detected by a whining at the front of the engine. There was a design change in 2015 to address this failure mode. If this failure happens, it's expensive, which is why there is internet visibility - however not as common as it seems.
Otherwise, not much to be concerned with.
