thanks to all for the encouraging replies. I had already really decided to stick with my X1 M. It works great for me and I'll just focus on keeping it maintained as well as possible.

A friend of mine has a 440i that looks pretty nice and has a very solid zoom-zoom factor, but I am not a sedan/big coupe guy.
