I would say not to bother with the stage 1. If the Sprintbooster isn't an option because of throttle sensitivity then all but linear throttle through MHD will have the same effect. The JB4 implemented menu 11 a year or so ago but I found that it just made more boost on lower throttle inputs. Although it made the car feel quicker in day to day driving I found that it would overboost on partial throttle.
