If they can sell everyone they make without coming to the US, why would they want to incur the transport, currency etc risks?

Sure, from the buyers perspective its disappointing, however from a business angle they just don't need to go through the headache currently.

As was said somewhere else, were it to. Be made in the us, then that would remove both transport and capacity, however I imagine tooling up a factory isn't a few week process, especially if it wasn't intended or planned originally.

The current design is coming up to what, 2 and a bit years? must be due a refresh - maybe then?
