a windshield shade is key. We have the black nevada leather in ours and the seats get super hot without them.
Our old E90 with oyster leather got hot too but the black leather is (obviously) worse.
Another idea to try is to run your ac in "manual" mode, and not auto set to a temperature. I think this makes the AC output consistently cold air.
