Hi guys, interesting issue....
My X1 23d is loosing coolant.. after a 500km drive when I park on a level ground overnight, I check it in the morning, and the stick is below minimum. (I top it up and it takes it, and the stick pops up to full again...) doesn't drop any water on the ground, so obviously its going in to the radiator expansion tank..
They tell me its not loosing water, and if it needs some it will indicate its low...
yet when I checked it before I went to the dealer the stick was on minimum.... And when I picked it up, they got up me for not using BMW coolant.. to which I replied, well obviously its using it if my coolant is now in the system... The service advisor simply said " Just wait for the low water light comes on" Great if I am in the middle of now where with the closest town 100km away.....
Has anyone else had this issue??
