I do plan on lowering it so will cross that bridge when it comes. I will need to do some research if spacers are safe for the track.

My car is an M-Sport as well, but it's not AWD.
As far as spacers go for the track, I just spent this past weekend at Sebring with 10mm non hubcentric spacers up front and had zero issues. I've used spacers on almost all of my track cars and they've been fine as well.
