The led lights for X3 5 6 are different than the X1. They are bigger and don't match the bracket. I installed them on my X1 but removed the brackets from the bumper and made my own using long bolts molded to the bumper. Also had to cut the opening to make them fit. Apparently there are 2 types for the X1 depending on msport bumper (see attached)
Is this the one that your X1 came with?
