When people abbreviate things to sound cool. Like saying "cab sav" instead of Cabernet Sauvignon. Or "Brussels" as opposed to Brussel sprouts.
I was at CUT in Las Vegas recently. The robots who work there handed me an iPad instead of a menu. It riled me: am I at McDonalds at the drive-through??? I let them know I did not appreciate it.
