On the 35i, it doesn't tell you an increase in mpg, but how many extra miles you can go, cumulative for driving with ECOPRO. Here in the cold north, where there's still little advantage to reducing the AC, it's almost always between +0.0 mls and +0.9 mls - it slowly creeps up, and drops down quickly if you have to stop or give gas.
Gaining a mile on a full tank just isn't worth it. Given that I can go 380 miles on a $56 gas fill, an increase to 381 miles drops the costs to $55.85. Woo hoo, 15 cents saved on a full tank.
