Speaking for the 28i w/BMS Stage 1:

The D shift points are better matched to the torque curve than DS under full throttle (IMO). DS over revs a bit. DS does offer better performance overall in terms of transmission and throttle response. My wife never touches the paddles and simply moves to DS when she needs performance. I drive primarily in D and paddle shift as needed.

Before the tune I found ECO PRO absolutely useless due to anemic throttle response and acceleration. With the tune, it is actually usable as there seems to be some torque available without having to mash the gas pedal. I recently have been using it on the HWY when there is congestion and no need for aggressive passing; or when I'm in no hurry and want to drive luxuriously. The computer tells me that ECO PRO gains me about +1 MPG. You can still paddle shift or move to DS while in ECO PRO.
