Before my X1 I owned a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen with full BT connectivity. Imagine my surprise when I tried to link my iPhone to the new BMW. And then to learn the adapter doesn't even work with an iPhone without ANOTHER adapter...Less for more. I agree the lack of a full BT capability is an insult.
