We'd purchased a Chevrolet SUV in white and had the dealer install and paint the aero kit. Well, we picked it up from the paint shop and the two colors did not match. I drove down to the manager's office and he couldn't tell the difference. Then, when told by the manager their paint shop did it, the salesmen couldn't see any difference. What a bunch of lemmings. Anyway with much persistence on my part, the manager's boss agreed to have the aero kit repainted.

It seems they did not waste time/money on the correct primer which allowed the fiberglass to show through and give the white a different tint. When they premiered the pieces in white and applied the final white coat you couldn't tell that it was aftermarket.

My guess is it is not the paint color, but lack of or incorrect primer.

And, once you've seen the difference it will drive you crazy. Persist and get it done right
NumberSix you're absolutely right, once I've seen difference it has driven me crazy
