On the Auto Stop/Start - I am still ambivalent on this, but some of my concerns have been mollified. For example, if you are want to make a turn and stop for traffic, the ASS does not come on. This is specified in the manual - when the steering wheel is being held for turning, ASS does not engage. And I can see this verified with the little trip computer icon, which is the A with a line through it when not engaged.

In fact, in my experience, you have to be pointing straight ahead and have your foot on the brake for ASS to engage. And if, like me, you are pretty good at anticipating a light change or when traffic will move, it's easy to lift off the brake and let the engine restart without any bad lag.

I do remain concerned about the "additional wear" issue.
