My local BMW dealer charges $2200 + NJ sales tax for rims/winter tires. Storage is included and no charge to get them swapped on and off.

My wife will be driving it primarily and is a bit nervous in the snow. Since the M Line comes with summer tires, winter tires are a must. Through BMW the other option is to special order "All Seasons" for an extra $600. I'm not convinced that the all seasons would be enough for the the xDrive X1 in snowy conditions.

What do you think, especially those of you who've driven in snow with the X1, or 3 or 1 series Beemers with X Drive?
