I find it useful for one thing: It reduces the amount of air blowing on my dogs in the rear, which is useful because the X1 lacks a "rear fan off" function.
But other than that, it doesn't do a lot for the 35i. In a 28i, it reduces acceleration too, I hear, instead of just flashing a light.
