A few nuggets - the 2.8i is the Turbo I4, and it will only come with the 8-spd slushbox for canada. No 6MT in the works.  Nor the diesel, for that matter.
Size wise, it was actually bigger than I was expecting. Passenger cabin space was virtually identical to the 3-series sedan, although the trunk did look a tad small. Looked good; although not a big fan of the bronze colour. |
The X1's dimensions are almost identical to that of the 3-series estate (wagon) on which it is based, except of course that its taller. Better utilisation of interior space makes it slightly larger inside with more legroom (also because its taller). Boot space is also up compared to 3- estate.
