Careful what you wish for.
#1 - My E92 was built in Regensburg (
IN Bavaria) and they didn't build it with the standard sport suspension. Still loved the car the way it was, especially for the crappy NY roads.
#2 - The E90 was built in Munich (definitely Bavaria) and after pick up @ Die Welt, noticed a noise as if there was something rolling around in the frame behind the front seats. After it arrived stateside, they took it apart and found a grommet had fallen through the subframe and they removed it.
BTW, a friend of mine has both an X5 and X3 that were built in SC and loves them dearly.
Wondering if I waited for the next gen X1, I could finally say that my SO has a Brazillian...
