Interesting that this showed up on front page. The recall has been an active program from BMW for some time now (research a few threads and you'll see mentions of it). 2007-2009 vehicles had a completely separate recall early on for the fuel injectors that aren't covered by this particular program. Sucks that BMW didn't encompass all e9x models and are specifying by year even though I think the injector is the faulty part and should be applicable across all models.
