Thanks for the info.
I do not pay particular attention to how I use brakes.
After coming to a stop I apply just enough pressure to hold position.
If I am doing it wrong, I have been doing it wrong for 40 years☹️
All my previous vehicles got through at least 2 sets of pads before I had to change rotors.
I did not go through an embed procedure though. Just took it easy for the first 1000 km.
