You just must be really babying your cars around. For a bit of fun, I gave it a short go. I've done 59kms so far and have a range of 920kms on my 23d. I'm making sure that when i'm climbing hills or whatever, that i'm feathering the throttle to try and keep the instant fuel under 10L/100kms, taking off slowly, rolling down hills (in drive), taking foot off throttle in gear and coasting when I can but I feel like i'm being passed by people on foot. I'm too impatient to last this "miss daisy" driving technique out a whole tank but I do see how it's theoretically possible...
