Yes all OEM options are available in India: two issues though, usually parts take a month to get after order and the cost is approximately double the cost of Germany.

As someone in Europe, I find the situation bizarre that you have to buy your car, then effectively have to retrofit/rebuild half of it to get it to the point of what you originally wanted, all because BMW thought they knew best what the market wanted and didn't offer Factory fit.
Fair play to you guys - you must
really like the X1, or BMW. I would probably have purchased a different car than go through the hassle!
