What model do you have and what makes you think you have electric? AFAIK both N20 and N55 cars have hydraulic.

The N20 should have two belts, one for the alternator and AC and a separate belt for power steering. N55 only has one belt. If you have N20 and only replaced the alt/AC belt without replacing the PS belt, that's your cause.
