Also, the UK (where the survey was done) gets completely different models from what we get in the US:
US:
35i: 300 hp
28i: 242 hp
UK:
20i SE: 184 hp
25d (M-Sport only): 218 hp
20d SE: 184 hp
18d SE: 143 hp
16d SE: 116 hp
(As far as I can tell, "SE" means special equipped, in this case with mudflaps.)
Given the low likelihood of the surveyed being 25d M-Sport owners, I can see that they might not rank it high for performance.
