Hey guys... a bit of a twist on the rear fog mod that others have performed. I wanted to have the rear fog icon on the button but did not want to pay $150+ for a brand new switch. I found a used switch for a E82 120i (PN 61316932798) from Europe that had the button with logo and swapped it for the blank spacer on my switch.
Good news is that it works and it only cost me $35.
Bad news is that the LED that illuminates the button at night is missing from my switch.
I thought I would share my experience in case anyone else had a similar idea...
