I got paddles on my 14 X1 M Sport s28i and never use them.
Maybe I'm a less is more guy, and I did use them on steep hill in Germany, but I used the stick on steep hill in Colorado.
I even took my car to the track, and I just don't think I'm coordinated enough to over ride the trans computer.
Got the same on a RX8 auto, and let the power demand decide the gear.
