I tracked my X1 s28i with 225/45r18 and 255/40r18 tires with a temp gauge to figure it out.
I decided I liked 38 psi all around at 70 deg ambient cold.
The rear seems to be very bouncy even at this lower pressure.
I think the book says 38 psi front and 42 rear under heavy load so that's probably just right.
