Now in the real world me with my stock times 13.6 1/4 and para running 12.1 1/4 mile with just $2000 in bolt ons, which i just bought those bolt ons for my x1 shows clearly the potential of the bmw x1 35i. even the suspension is different from the 28i m sport to the 35i m sport for example the rear camber bolts in the 35i m sport are the same as the bmw 1m. sorry 28i
If a 911 can't beat an x1 with standard suspension around the track then it is a pretty poor 911 driver. But yes if you are racing get the 35. But on the street the 28 is more than powerful enough. If all that you car about is speed get a bike. My old Ducati would beat your 12.1 without even trying. You can spend 11000 on a Japanesee sport bike and pass your x1 like it was sitting still.
