Mark Jackson was a great preacher and a decent motivator, but a below average basketball coach. He actually overachieved in Round 1 by taking the Clippers all the way to game 7 without any of his centers (Bogut, Ezeli, O'neal).

Mark was known by many hardcore insider Warrior fans as "pockets" because his hands would always be inside his pockets throughout the game, especially during timeouts and crucial situations. I definitely won't miss him as a coach or lack thereof. I always thought he was brought in as a publicity stunt when they first hired him almost 3 years ago. No legit team in the NBA hires a zero-experience first year coach and expect to win games by way of coaching strategy. Don't even mention Jason Kidd.

If I were to pick a new coach for the Warriors, I would go with the following guys in the exact order:

1. Jerry Sloan
2. Lionel Hollins
3. Stan Van Gundy
4. Nate McMillan
5. John Stockton (if available)
6. Steve Kerr
7. George Karl
8. Sam Mitchell
9. Avery Johnson
10. Kevin Ollie
