I would also caution as to what defines a good or bad joint. In fact, unless seized, a perfectly new joint will feel stiffer (i.e., less play) than one with more wear.

Thanks! I don't claim to have ever deal with a u-joint either, so it's all new to me. I suppose I will check it in another 10-20k just to see how it's doing, I've got CPO warranty for another 2 years/50k.
