Interesting thoughts on the X5. I'm totally with you on it being too big of a car. I've got a cargo box suspended off our ceiling so that I can easily set it up if there's a need for more space.
I was in a new X3 recently and I was surprised how big it was - I thought it was an X5 at first :-/
I can't imagine how huge the X5 must feel.
Even with the X3 I felt it was a large car. It's probably because it's a different chassis and I would probably feel that way even in the newer X1. Guess my next car will be a sedan (not a fan of the ride on most crossovers)
