2016 X5 - Loaner Vehicle - Thoughts
I took my 2015 X1 in for dealer service. They gave me a 2016 X5 35i loaner vehicle. My thoughts on the X5 after a couple hundred miles are that while it does have a more comfortable ride than the X1, the steering is devoid of any feel. It also conveys its mass and does not feel overly sporty or car like but does handle pretty well for such a large vehicle. I do like the newer entertainment system and more informative displays, but I still prefer my X1. An X5M would be a whole different beast I am sure, but I do think when I do upgrade it would be an X3 or X4M - the X5 simply feels too big.
