Sorry, yes. Its chains or snow tyres. I was referring to BMW stocking a pack containing what you would need on the continent. All X1's in the UK are fitted with summer or all season tyres. These are not acceptable on their own. BMW in the UK are now offering a winter tyre option as an extra.
Just for interest I noticed this morning that our local KwikFit have a board outside advertising winter tyres! First time I have seen this.
