I don't know why there would be. The car is traction limited in stopping distances (repeat stops/fade resistance aside). The stock brakes can engage the ABS...so going bigger isn't going to shorten stopping distances in street driving situations.
Unless of course you add enough tire and/or wheel mass that your stock brakes can't engage the ABS anymore...than sure.
But anyway, as a general rules...if you want shorter stopping distances, step 1. is always a tire upgrade.
