Stop start or ASS will soon be on all BMW's so there is nothing you can do about it but hit the button to disable it. ASS is not Eco Pro which simply kicks you up to higher gears to keep you below 1500 rpms. Two different animals and both can be disabled. I'm getting about 22 in city driving with virtually no highway, yes it's not 24-26 but its 3.5 mpg better than our 2007 X3 got with a 3.0 6. Hwy mileage is significantly better, we used to get 22.5 to 23 on the X3 at 80 mph but get close to 31 now due to the transmission gearing. Running about 2100 rpms at 75-80 which.
