When you lower a car, it will naturally camber in, not come out more. The 17s will be wrapped in a meatier tire just like the forester I posted above but the tire diameter will still be the same as a 19" setup. I hear what you're saying, but I'm still not totally convinced I have to "drop the piss out of it" to make it look good. Do you think the Forester with 17s or 19s look better? Personally, I think the 17 setup looks better on the Forester... I still with we had a more fair X1 comparison.
