20-30 seconds is a long time.
Since the colder weather has arrived mine is taking 2-3 seconds now with the coil displayed on the dash before engine cranks and starts. This happens first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon having not been used for a long while. Must admit I don't remember it doing this during the previous years I have had it - but I don't see 2-3 secs as a problem. Due to doing some shorter journeys my battery has been struggling so did wonder if the low battery was causing it to take longer to start. It's lovely having heated seats and all but no good on short journeys. So the car started displayed "excessive battery drain" more recently and then a low battery warning but since keeping an eye on energy usage and doing some longer trips I've not seen anymore battery related warnings and car still takes 2-3 secs before it cranks over and starts from cold.
