I had a bad experience upgrading my iPhone once so now I wait a week to upgrade. I did upgrade my iPad 3 and, other than needing to delete some apps and photos to free up the required 5.5GB (?!?) for the install, it went slowly but smoothly. I did not see much difference, but then again it is an older iPad 3. I suspect the differences on the 5s iPhone will be a little more noticeable.
I've asked this in other forums but never got a reply: has anyone had an issue with
txt messages on the iDrive? I had updated the iDrive and was able to display txt messages from my iPhone but then one day the option disappeared. I tried to update the iDrive and the iPhone, but the option never came back. I had button #1 set as a quick link to messages. Now when I press it I can see "MESSAGES" flash briefly on the screen before it goes to CONTACTS, and there's no way to get to the MESSAGES through any other menu.
