Not sure how that would even work since the material has so much play and stretch. It would still need trimmed and tucked. Or are you saying it is just a sheet cut for the hood at approx size. I have my roof and rear spoiler wrapped gloss black and it was fairly difficult with the antenna and roof racks.
Mirror covers would be easy diy... let us know what you come up with
